2016-05-21 16:43:27 Challenge: Susan is going on a business trip to Frankfurt, Germany. She will need to carry both business formal as well as evening party wear for informal events. She wants to carry a fresh collection of clothes, but does not have a lot of time to spend on shopping in stores. She browses online for clothes and handbags, but is lost in the vast variety of options that crop up. She needs expert help to provision her wardrobe. Solution: “Personal Fashion Stylist” uses Behavioural Analysis to track user’s online purchases and browsing activity as well as other social interests to draw insights about their personality and choice of apparel. It then searches through all available data stores for right choice of apparel along with recommendations for accessories. Taking the context and user’s spending behavior into account, it sifts through the search results to come up with combinations that fit into the user’s budget. Furthermore, it models the apparel, shoes and accessories on virtual mannequins to help user picturize the final look of the outfit. Result: Susan got five results for business wear of which she opted for 3, and 10 results for evening wear among which she bought 2. The entire exercise was completed in a matter of minutes. Susan now had a great assortment of clothes for her trip, with minimal amount of time spent.
