Hindu Festival

Chaitra month
Chaitra is the first month of the Hindu calendar that falls in March and April. The prominent Chaitra festivals are- Sheetala Ashtami, Papmochanki Ekadashi, Ranga Panchami, Ghatasthapana, Ugadi, Gudi padwa, Gangaur, Yamuna chhath, Rama Navami, Kamada Ekadashi, Hanuman Jayanti and Chaitra Purnima.  

Vaishakha month
Vaishakha month is an auspicious and second month observed in April and May. It brings festivals including- Parashurama Jayanti, Akshaya Tritiya, Sita Navami, Mohini Ekadashi, Narasimha Jayanti, Buddha Purnima and Kurma Jayanti. 

Jyeshtha month
Jyeshtha marks the third month of the Hindu lunar calendar. The beautiful month greets with pious festivals- Narada Jayanti, Apara Ekadashi, Vat Savitri Vrat, Shani Jayanti, Ganga Dussehra, Nirjala Ekadashi, Vat Purnima Vrat, Mahesh Navami, and Gayatri Jayanti. 

Ashadha month
The glorious Ashadha month brings many beautiful festivals like- Jagannath Rath Yatra, Devshayani Ekadashi, Guru Purnima, Gauri Vrat, Jayaparvati Vrat, Kokila Vrat and Vyasa Puja. 

Shravana month
Shravana month is one of the most celebrated, pious, and sacred Hindu lunar calendars. It has precious festivities including- Kamika Ekadashi, Shravan Somwar vrats, Mangala Gauri Vrat, Hariyali Teej, Nag Panchami, Shravana Putrada Ekadashi, Varalakshmi Vrat, Raksha Bandhan, Gayatri Jayanti, Kalki Jayanti, Hayagriva Jayanti, Narali Purnima, and Sanskrit Diwas. 

Bhadrapada month
Bhadrapada is a beautiful month of the Hindu calendar observed in August and September. Kajari Teej, Krishna Janmashtami, Dahi handi, Hartalika Teej, Ganesh Chaturthi, Rishi Panchami, Radha Ashtami, Vamana Jayanti, Anant Chaturdashi, Mahalakshmi Vrat, and Durva Ashtami are its significant festivals. 

Ashwin month
Ashwin is a holy month that falls in September and October. It blesses with festivals such as Indira Ekadashi, Shardiya Navratri, Saraswati Avahan, Saraswati puja, Durga Ashtami, Maha Navami, Dussehra, Sharad Purnima, Upang Lalita Vrat, and Kojagara Puja. 

Kartik month
Kartik month is one of the glorious months that occurs in October and November. It brings festivals including Karwa Chauth, Ahoi Ashtami, Rama Ekadashi, Dhanteras, Narak Chaturdashi, Lakshmi Puja, Govardhan Puja, Bhai Dooj, Kansa Vadh, Chhath Puja, Gopashtami, Tulsi Vivah And Devuttama Ekadashi. 

Margashirsha month
Margashirsha month starts in November and continues to December. It has many festivals, including Kalbhairav Jayanti, Utpanna Ekadashi, Vivah Panchami, Gita Jayanti, Mokshada Ekadashi, Dattatreya Jayanti and Annapurna Jayanti. 

Pausha month
Pausha is one of the vital and auspicious months of the Hindu lunar calendar, marking December and January. Saphala Ekadashi, Pausha Putrada Ekadashi, Banada Ekadashi, Shakambhari Purnima, and Paush Purnima are the main occasions of Pausha month. 

Magha month
Magha marks the January and February months and is one of the most optimistic times of the year. Sakat Chauth, Shattila Ekadashi, Vasant Panchmi, Ratha Saptami, Bhishma Ashtami, and Jaya Ekadashi are the prominent festivals of Magha month. 

Phalguna month
Phalguna month is one of the fresh and rejuvenating months covering February and March. Vijaya Ekadashi, Maha Shivaratri, Phulera Dooj, Amalaki Ekadashi, Holika Dahan and Holi are the major festivals of Phalguna month.
